POST POLL VIOLENCES

On 26-5-2008 between 10 PM and 11 PM Shri.Lingegowda resident of Honnekere village said to be BJP supporter was coming back to his house from his field, the accused persons Kiran Kumar and 4 others of the same village came in a vehicle and formed themselves an unlawful assembly along with chopper and threatened with filthy language.The motive is said to be political rivalry. In this connection on the complaint of Lingegowda a case in Mandya Rural PS Cr.No.265/2008 U/s 143,147,148, 504,506 r/w 149 IPC has regd and is under investigation.
On 26-5-2008 at 11.30 PM at Honakere village the accused person Ningegowda and other two (BJP supporters) came near the house of complainant Pradeep and threatened him for not voted in favour of BJP. Again on 27-5-2008 at 8.30hours the same accused persons along with 4 to 5 members threatened the complainant and assaulted him etc. In this connection a case has been registered in. Mandya Rural PS Cr.No.268/2008 U/s 143,147,148,324,504,506 r/w 149 IPC and is under investigation.
